Hoglands Park

Hoglands Park is the village green of Central Parks. It features a cricket ground, skate park, multi-use games section and a picnic and barbecue area, all set in beautiful parkland. The parks boundaries are planted and managed with native plants to encourage wildlife.


Hoglands Park is part of the many open spaces across Southampton providing an ideal place to hold an event. The park has been the location of choice for the Tour of Britain cycle race finish, Sport Relief, Southampton Mela Festival, BBC Blast Tour, circuses, youth festivals, sporting events and many family activities.

  • The pavilion buildings were painted by local street artists adding to the appeal for younger park visitors

Getting to Hoglands Park

If you are planning on getting to Hoglands Park by car some nearby postcodes are SO14 1NH and SO14 1LT. The surrounding roads are South Front, Palmerston Road, St Mary's Place and Houndwell Road. The nearest car parks are on James Street or at the Eastgate multi-storey car park. Hoglands Park is in central Southampton and is easy to get to by public transport. The nearest bus stops are on Vincent's Walk, behind Primark.
