Daisy Dip Park
Daisy Dip Park is a large open space that sits between Swaythling and Bassett, and links to Bassett Wood Greenway. At almost eight hectares the park is divided by Lobelia Road, with Carnation Road running along its northern edge and Bluebell Road along its southern edge.
There is an area of 1.3 hectares for play and picnics in the western section, whilst another 2.5 hectares is managed for wildlife. It features a lush wetland meadow fed by a stream, which runs through the park in the valley. There is also grassland, bramble banks and woodland margins, perfect for exploring.
There is an active friends group, Friends of Daisy Dip, that organise community events and litter picks.
